Your profile is your first impression on Footly. A clear profile helps viewers understand what you offer, what kind of content you post, and why they should follow or buy from you.
What to update
• Profile photo: use an image that fits your brand and looks good in a small circle or square.
• Display name: choose a clean name that matches the identity you want buyers to remember.
• Bio: explain what you post, what buyers can expect, and how they can contact you for questions or custom interests.
• Public teaser content: show enough of your style to build trust without giving away the paid content.
• Paid collections and videos: use specific descriptions so buyers know exactly what they are purchasing.
How to edit your profile
1. Open Footly and go to your profile or Settings.
2. Choose the option to edit your profile.
3. Update your photo, display name, bio, and any other public profile fields.
4. Save your changes.
5. Open your profile as a viewer would see it and check for typos, missing details, or unclear wording.
Bio writing tips
• Be direct. Say what you post instead of relying on vague tease copy.
• Set expectations. Mention whether you post photos, videos, themed collections, custom content, or chat availability.
• Invite conversation. Let viewers know they can message you with questions before buying.
• Keep it easy to scan. Short lines and specific details work better than one long paragraph.
• Stay within Footly rules. Do not include anything that violates platform guidelines or payment rules.
Descriptions for paid content
Use public posts for teaser language and personality. For paid posts, collections, and videos, be more exact. A buyer should understand the format, theme, length or number of items, and what makes the content worth purchasing.
• Good paid description: "10-photo pedicure collection with close-up sole shots, pink polish, and natural lighting."
• Weak paid description: "You will love this one."
• Good video description: "2-minute foot massage video with lotion, close-up angles, and no talking."
• Weak video description: "Special video just for you."
