Footly's affiliate program rewards direct referrals of creators. Approved affiliate accounts and verified Footly creators can both share a unique referral link and earn from eligible referred creators.
Who can be an affiliate?
Approved affiliate accounts: Apply through Footly's affiliate program. Once approved, you can use the affiliate dashboard to track referrals, earnings, and payouts.
Verified Footly creators: Verified creators can generate a referral link directly from creator settings. Creator referral accounts are created automatically and managed from the creator dashboard.
The program is for direct creator referrals only. Footly does not pay downstream, sub-affiliate, parent-affiliate, or multi-level commissions unless separately agreed in writing.
Where do I find my referral link?
Creators: Go to app.tryfootly.com/settings and look for the Refer creators section. Click Get my referral link to create your link.
Approved affiliates: Sign in at affiliate.tryfootly.com to find your referral link and dashboard.
How attribution works
Your referral link includes your unique code, such as ?ref=YOURCODE. When someone visits Footly through your link, Footly stores that code for up to 30 days and attempts to attach it to the person's account when they sign up.
If someone first signs up as a buyer and later becomes a verified creator, Footly can convert that attribution into a creator referral after creator verification. Blocked cookies, ad blockers, changed links, incomplete signup, duplicate attribution, or disputed tracking may prevent a referral from being credited.
How commissions work
Creator subscriptions: Earn 10% recurring commission on eligible Footly creator subscription payments from directly referred creators while their paid creator plan stays active.
Creator sales: Earn 5% lifetime commission on eligible creator sales while the directly referred creator remains on an active paid Footly plan.
Buyer purchases: Footly currently rewards direct creator referrals only. Buyer purchase commissions are not paid under the current program, though buyer attribution may still matter if that person later becomes a verified creator.
Creator-sales commissions require a valid direct referral, creator conversion, an approved affiliate account, and an active paid creator plan at the time of the sale.
Creator-affiliates vs. standard affiliate accounts
Creator-affiliates manage their referral link and stats from the Footly creator dashboard. Eligible creator-sales commissions for creator-affiliates are credited through the creator wallet.
Standard affiliates manage referrals, payout methods, and payout requests from the affiliate dashboard.
Payouts
Approved affiliate earnings are subject to verification, payout schedules, and minimum payout thresholds. The current minimum affiliate payout threshold is $50, and affiliate payouts are handled monthly after eligible earnings are approved.
Commissions may be delayed, declined, or reversed for refunds, chargebacks, disputed payments, duplicate attribution, creator or affiliate suspension, ineligible transactions, tracking abuse, fraud, or legal/compliance concerns.
Program rules
You must be 18+ and in good standing to participate.
No self-referrals, fake accounts, bots, forced clicks, cookie stuffing, or misleading traffic.
No spam, impersonation of Footly, misleading claims, or paid search on Footly branded terms.
If you share a Footly referral link, disclose clearly that you may earn a commission.
Do not make false or unsupported earnings claims. Results vary and are not guaranteed.
