Do I have to pay to sell on Footly?
Yes. Selling on Footly requires an active creator plan, and you start that plan before you publish anything. A creator plan is a paid monthly or yearly subscription, not a fee taken out of your first sale — so you do pay upfront.
Buyer accounts are free. You only need a creator plan if you want to sell.

What does a creator plan cost?
Footly has three creator plans. The plan you choose sets the platform fee on everything you sell.
Rising — $3.99/month or $24.99/year: 15% platform fee. You keep 85% of every sale.
Spotlight — $6.99/month or $39.99/year: 10% platform fee. You keep 90% of every sale.
Icon — $9.99/month or $59.99/year: 5% platform fee. You keep 95% of every sale.

Is the platform fee the only fee?
Yes. The tiered platform fee is the only fee taken from creator earnings, and it applies the same way to subscriptions, pay-per-view posts, PPV messages, tips, and custom requests. Footly absorbs buyer-side card processing costs and payout-side ACH and Paxum processing fees.
What is free?
Buyer accounts: Browsing and following creators costs nothing. Buyers pay only for the content, subscriptions, tips, or unlocks they choose to purchase.
Creating your account: Signing up and verifying your email is free.
Setting up your profile: Your username, display name, bio, and profile images can all be set up before you start a plan.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
You can change or upgrade your plan at any time from your creator settings. If you cancel, you keep creator access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Will I definitely make sales?
No. There are no guaranteed sales on Footly. Your plan is what it costs to list and sell — it does not buy traffic or results. Pick the plan that matches the volume you realistically expect, and upgrade later if it makes sense.
